The kit came with clear resin parts so if the builder could use lighting methods. The front pilots console and several main components in the tech support navigation area in the rear ( mainly the back side console wall ) could be back lit using EL lamp or more commonly known as 'Light Sheet' as you can see masking and covering areas where you want to light to show through is pretty much all that you need to do..then the kit came with very well printed decals for the dradis abd other tech screens. For the small spot lamps I put 3mm led's in my dremel and turned them down to a snaller size, making room for all the wires was the hard part. I used very fine artist wire for many of the led's and installed the resistors in tight cluster assemblies under the flooring. I also did something unexpected to many as I re-designed
